Mah gave befitting reply to BJP for insulting state: Mushrif on Council polls results

Kolhapur, Dec 4 (UNI) Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Hasan Mushrif on Friday mocked at the Bharatiya Janata Party, which managed to win just one out of six seats in the just-concluded Council polls.
Addressing a press conference here, he remarked that Maharashtra has given a befitting reply to the BJP, the party which “insulted” the state in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and later “sided” with Kangana Ranaut as she sparred with the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.
He further said that the saffron party should self-analyze the poll results as the MVA drove to victory on four seats.
State Assembly Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis and state BJP President Chandrakant Patil must be thinking that it would have been better, if the voting had taken place through EVM, he quipped.
The time has come to prefer ballot paper over the EVM even if the former process stretches the vote counting time, he added.
