Latin American data centre company Ascenty activated a second data centre at its mega campus in Vinhedo in Brazil, in which it invested USD 150 million. The 25,000-m2 date centre will have a capacity of 36 MW of power.
The new site is part of Latin America’s largest data centre, with 46,000 m2 and 70 MW in total. With the latest addition, Ascenty has 17 units in operation totalling 228 MW and 148,000 m2 of raised floor space, in addition to another five units under construction to be activated in 2021.
