Specially abled persons felicitated

Imphal, December 03 2020: On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur felicitated the winners of Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP) Art Contest 2020 which was a National Level Talent Hunt programme.

Adhering to the SOPs of COVID the members of the centre visited the residents of the differently abled participants and winners of the contest and presented them with memento, certificate etc.

The VOSAP Art Contest was held in two rounds and it was held online.

Eighteen differently abled persons from Manipur participated in the contest and six of them emerged as winners.

Today's felicitation program was led by Nimol Ningombam, media advisor of the centre, program manager Premier Moirangthem and rehabilitation officer Karnajit Khoibam.

This year the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is held under the theme "Building back better: Towards an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 world by, for and with persons with disabilities" .
