Rostelecom expands network in Perm, raises mobile subscriber base in Central Russia

Russian national operator Rostelecom has deployed a 105 km fibre-optic line in the Perm region, connecting the town of Krasnovishersk and the village of Vaya in the Krasnovishersk municipality. The operator has also announced that its mobile subscriber base in the federal district of Central Russia has reached the threshold of 370,000, up by 137 percent within the last two years. It started providing mobile services in Central Russia in 2016 and now serves eighteen regions there.
