UGC extends admission date for ODL and Online programmes till Dec 31

Issuing a notice on Thursday, Rajnish Jain said, "Extension of last date of admission in ODL and online programmes for September - October academic session, 2020-2021 to be offered by recognized Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
The notice further reads "It is informed that the last date for admission in ODL and online programmes for September-October academic session 2020-2021 has been extended from 30th November 2020 to 31st December 2020.
HIEs will make note of this and accordingly upload the admission dates on the UGC DEB web portal by January 15, 2021.
HEIs will ensure compliance to UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020, UGC notification on Specification of Degrees, 2014, and other relevant regulations/ notifications of UGC/ Regulatory Authorities (as applicable) for all the programmes to be offered in ODL and online mode.
