Congress wrests seat from BJP in Nagpur Graduate Constituency polls



Nagpur, Dec 4 (UNI) Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate Adv Abhijeet Wanjari has won Nagpur Graduate constituency Election by margin of 14407 votes.

Congress' Wanjari got 55947 votes, while BJP’s Sandeep Joshi got 41540 votes.

Congress wrested seat from BJP by registering huge victory in the BJP-dominated Nagpur division comprising Nagpur, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gondia, Gadchiroli and Wardha.

A total of 1,32,923 voters had casted their votes for the Graduate Constituency in the six districts of Nagpur division.

Voting for the graduate constituency took place on December 1 and the turnout was 64.38 percent.
