The Thane court rejected the second bail application of a Bhiwandi man who was arrested for sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl in 2018. The accused is victim's relative.
Rejecting the bail plea, judge KD Shirbhate said, "There is an eye witness in the this matter and the offence is serious. As there is no change in circumstances it is not tenable. Hence, the bail is rejected."
