On the other side, it is said that rashmika is confirmed as ram Charan's heroine in the movie. The team initially wanted kiara advani but the actress is not available for telugu filmmakers due to her busy schedule in Bollywood. The movie has completed 30-40% of the shooting before the Lockdown and will shoot non-stop till completion now.

The film is being readied for the Summer 2021 release. The makers want to release the movie on april 9, 2021, to cash the Summer holidays. koratala siva is directing the film. Acharya also marks the Reunion of mani sharma and chiranjeevi after several years.
