Accident claims 6

Khandwa, MP, Dec 3 (UNI) Six people – including a bridegroom – died on the spot and 18 sustained grievous injuries when a tractor-trolley, conveying a wedding party from Maujwadi village to Mehlu hamlet, overturned in the vicinity of Roshni gram panchayat on Thursday; law-enforcement authorities said.
Eleven of the victims were referred here. The deceased were identified as Bhagwatibai, Sarjubai, Budhiyabai, Tulsibai, Gopabai and ‘husband-to-be’ Kunw Singh. Five of the dead hailed from Maujwadi and one woman from Betul District’s Pratappura. The Collector and the Superintendent of Police rushed to the spot.
