The Starzplay subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) service has been officially integrated into the Movistar Play platform of Movistar Argentina (Telefonica) a couple of months after launching in the country. Starzplay is affiliated with US global media and entertainment company Starz, a Lionsgate subsidiary, and features hit series such as Now Apocalypse, Normal People, Power, The Girlfriend Experience and Vida as well as hit films such as Spiderman and The Hunger Games.
It will cost ARS 189 a month via Movistar Play following a 30-day free trial. Starzplay was launched as a direct to consumer app for Android and iOS devices in Chile and Argentina in October, while Cinepolis Klic expanded to Mexico earlier this year.
