LeBron James Scores Big Payday After Resigning With Lakers To Play For Two More Seasons

LeBron James is staying with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 35-year-old forward basketball player will be back with the 2020 NBA Finals Champions after signing a two-year contract extension with the franchise.

ESPN reports that the contract is worth about $85 million dollars and he will be with the Lakers until at least 2023.

Breaking down the deal, it turns out that LeBron will take home $39.2 million during the 2020-21 season, followed by $41m in 2021-22 and almost $44.5m in 2022-23.

Over the course of his career in the NBA, LeBron has won four championships during his time with the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lakers.

Next up for LeBron is starring in the sequel to Space Jam.
