A case of three divorces has come to light through the post in the city. In this, the husband has given three divorce notices to the wife three times during the year by post. On the complaint of the victim, the Civil Line Police has registered a crime. In connection with the case, Civil Line police station in-charge Sanip Ratre said that the woman, resident of Talapara in the city, was married to Mohammad Fakih, resident of Baronbazar, Raipur, for eight years ago. They also have a six-year-old son.
A year ago, after the feud between the two, the woman started living with her son in the maternal home. After this, husband Mohammad Fakih sent a notice through the post. In it, he spoke of divorce when he did not return. About six months later, he sent another notice. It was also a matter of divorce. With the third notice, Mohammad Fakih spoke of the completion of three divorces. Some of the members of the society are also signed in the third notice. Also, Sharia law is also mentioned in it. After receiving the notice, the woman complained to the Civil Line Police Station. On this, the police have registered a crime under section four of the Muslim Women Protection Act 2019.
