In modification to Exchange notice no. 20200527-39 regarding Change in expiry day of weekly expiry contracts from Thursday to Monday in equity derivatives segment Trading Members are requested to note that w.e.f January 05,2021 the weekly expiry day will change from existing Monday to Friday.

In view of the above, trading members are requested to note that following -

·        All the existing weekly contracts in equity derivatives segment with expiry day as Monday (if Monday is holiday then previous working day) will expire on January 04,2021. These contracts will not be available for trading from January 05,2021.

·       New weekly expiry contracts with expiry day as Friday (if Friday is holiday then previous working day except for the  monthly expiry week where if Friday is holiday then weekly contract of Thursday expiry will not  be introduced) will be generated on January 04,2021 in equity derivatives segment for trading with effect from January 05,2021

There is no change in expiry day of existing monthly and long dated contracts which expires on last Thursday of the month (if Thursday is holiday then previous working day) in equity derivatives segment.
