The Towns Mirror Special: Parking is full

.
For many residents of Benson Town, going under ‘house arrest’ is a daily occurrence. Every morning when they open their gates to move their cars out of the driveway, they notice that the entrance to their house is blocked by a car parked in front of their gate.
Almost always, the driver is missing. And the car remains their till the driver has finished running his/her errand, meeting, or God forbid, a full day’s work at an office nearby.
One of the members of the Benson Town residents group told The Towns Mirror, “It is common sense not to park one’s car in front of someone’s gate. I’ve experienced this inconvenience many times. How am I supposed to go out of my house if a car is blocking my way?”
The residents are so worried that they keep a constant vigil, peeping out of their windows to see if someone has parked in front of their gate.

Cars parked in Benson Town, some double parked, some parked on pavements, are creating a problem for residents
Meanwhile, parking on the streets has become a big debating point in the Benson Town residents’ group. One resident posted in the group, “Harris Road had become a car park for tempos and cars. If you tell them not to park, they are rude and aggressive to the watchmen. Often they say that anyone can park on the road because it is not personal property. I’m sure if I go and park on the road opposite their house, this argument will not hold water.”
Many residents have also raised the issue of the cars being parked on pavements and cars parked on both sides of the road, especially Harris Road.
