UK wholesale full-fibre network operator CityFibre announced that four new ISPs have joined its full-fibre networks to provide gigabit-capable broadband services to households across the UK. They join launch partner Vodafone, TalkTalk and Zen Internet in agreeing to launch services over CityFibre networks.
These four ISPs are Highnet, Air Broadband, Trunk Networks and Triangle Networks. They have each committed to acquiring significant numbers of new customers in towns and cities across CityFibre networks. They are preparing for imminent launches, with some doing so under newly-created consumer brands.
Highnet will launch services in Scotland, initially in Inverness before expanding to other areas across the country. Air Broadband will initially launch services in Ipswich, Cambridge, Lowestoft and Bury St Edmunds. Triangle Networks will offer services in Milton Keynes, with Trunk Networks offering full-fibre broadband services in Eastbourne, Worthing and other locations across the South of England.
