RAJOURI: Lambasting People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), Former minister and BJP Prabhari Rajouri, Priya Sethi said that the leaders indulged in the Alliance have a history of deceiving the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
She alleged the PAGD have been ‘exploiting and misleading’ the people from the day Alliance was formed.
They have been giving illicit hopes to the people of about the restoration of Article 370 and 35 (A).
“This Gupkar Alliance is exploiting and misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They are daydreaming and their dreams will never be realized,” she said.
She said the BJP will never allow the alliance to succeed in their nefarious designs.

While campaigning to vote for BJP Vipan Mehta at Dhaangri, the former minister questioned the doings of the mainstream political parties for the last 70 years. However, in the last six years of being in power, BJP has carried out uncountable developmental works and has taken the J&K UT to its new heights.
BJP has ended the 70 years of discrimination in J&K by the abrogation of Article 370 and the ended the family rake in the UT. Besides, Abdullahs and Muftis have lost democratic space in the region as no one was interested in dynastic rule again.
The leaders in the Alliance have made properties in foreign countries and benefited their own families and doubled their own pockets hence deprived the people of their rights.
“They are misleading the people on (Article) 370 restoration and other things, but people understand their hunger for power,” she added.
Distt President Rajinder Sharma said that the Parties which were boycotting all the elections under the behest of personnel privileges have joined hands to fool people and participate in the District Development Councils (DDC) polls.
“These leaders have the sole aim to save their own concerns since they have already lost their credibility. They have nothing to do with the development of J&K and empowering democracy.
