Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officials said on Wednesday that the board examinations in 2021 would be written exams rather than online and that the dates for conducting the examination were still under discussion. Board officials also said that if students could not appear for experimental work in classes before the examination, then options would be explored.
A senior CBSE official said that no final decision has been taken regarding the dates of conducting the board examination and discussions are going on with the parties concerned. The examinations will be in a written form whenever. The examination will be conducted following all COVID protocols.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is scheduled to hold talks with students, teachers, and parents on December 10 on the issue of next year's board exams and competitive examinations.
