We need to create an environment of inclusive growth rather than polarisation: Mamata

Kolkata, Dec 03 (UNI) Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said, " We need to focus on the right priorities and create an environment of inclusive growth rather than polarization. "

" Infosys has 50 acres of land. They will build a state of art IT development Centre. I am happy to announce that Infosys has informed us that they will start construction in July 2021, and complete within two years, " she said.
" We have established a startup water house in collaboration with NASSCOM. 150 startups have already launched, creating a large number of jobs. "
" More than 90 lakh MSME units are there in West Bengal, employing over 1,36,00,000 employees. 65 industrial parks and over 520 industrial clusters have been set up. "
" Several IT professionals lost their jobs during the pandemic in other states. We launched a skill matching portal – Karmo Bhumi – where there are 352 registered companies and over 40,000 registered job seekers. Already more than 8,000 people have been placed. "
" Since May 2011, the GDP of Bengal has increased 2.5 times. The state plan expenditure has increased 6.8 times, the capital expenditure has increased nearly 11 times, the social sector expenditure has increased 5.7 times, the agriculture
expenditure has increased 8.3 times and the physical infrastructure expenditure has increased six times, " she informed.
" We are the first state in the country to introduce registration of birth and death certificates through Blockchain technology, " she said.
