Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon starrer KGF 2 is one of the highly anticipated-films in recent times. While the posters of this pan-Indian venture have left the fans excited, the latest reports suggest that the teaser of this period-drama will be dropped on Yash's special day, which is on January 8 as the actor will ring in his 35th birthday. KGF 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. Sanjay Dutt plays the lead antagonist Adheera in the film. Yash had taken to his social handle to announce the same saying, "Sanjay Dutt is a wonderful actor, and when elements like his physical appearance, image, legacy and, on top of it, the kind of role that KGF Chapter 2 has etched for him come together, it only adds value." Raveena Tandon, who plays the character of a politician in the film, recently revealed details about her character and said, “I am playing a politician, a strong character. She is the hero as well as the villain of the film, with a very interesting story arc.” The Hindi version of the film is presented by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. In a recent statement, Rocky Bhai aka Yash said, “KGF 2 is going to be massive. If you’ve seen KGF 1, you’ll have an idea of what kind of movie it is—KGF 2 will be five-folds of KGF 1!” While the film was scheduled to release this year, it got delayed due to the pandemic crisis of COVID-19. The makers are currently shooting the final schedule and are expecting it to wrap-up by mid-December. Reportedly the second part of KGF will hit the screens during summer 2021.
