Telekom Romania Communications submitted the only offer for the provision of an IT security system to the National Bank of Romania (BNR), according to local publication Profit.ro. The platform will safeguard against possible DDoS cyber-attacks. The contract was estimated at RON 2.55 million, without VAT, and covers a period of 6 months.
The system will ensure a high level of availability of IT services published by BNR on the internet.
Telekom Romania Communications was recently acquired by Orange Romania.
