Russian national operator Rostelecom, in cooperation with the company TAdviser has carried out a study on the use of AI solutions by Russian businesses. According to the poll, 85 percent of companies are implementing or testing AI solutions. These are mostly used for optimisation of internal business processes.
Around 70 percent of companies which had used or tested AI solutions this year have seen returns already. The estimated result from the implementation of AI solutions by 62 companies totaled RUB 60 billion in 2019. More than 90 percent of respondents expect that their financial returns from AI solutions will either remain stable or increase this year.
Chat bots, customisation of offers and speech analysis are the most frequently used solutions in the B2C segment; solutions for predictive maintenance of equipment and pilotless transport including drones are used most in the B2B segment.
