Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh have gotten into war of words after the Punjabi singer and actor lashed out at the Manikarnika actress for degrading an elderly women at the farmer's protest. It all started when Kangana had shared a tweet misidentifying an elderly Sikh woman as Bilkis Bano of Shaheen Bagh and had called the woman a Rs 100 artist. While many artists from Punjab have slammed the Manikarnika actress for her insensitive comments, Diljit Dosanjh has asked Kangana to learn some manners and stop playing politics on someone else's struggle. But Kangana being Kangana, couldn't take the criticism in her stride. She started demeaning Diljit and called him Karan Johar's paltu. "Ooo Karan johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship keliye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin. Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? Stop this right now," Kangana tweeted.
Kangana's sharp words triggered Diljit who didn't mince his words in slamming the actress. While Kangana kept demeaning Diljit calling him "Oh chamche chal" and "Oye dumbo, the Punjabi kept his demeanor while hitting back at her.

On the other hand, Kangana has been slapped with a legal notice by advocate Harkam Singh who has demanded apology from the actress over her tweets.
