With the State Election Commission expected to announce the dates for Panchkula MC elections tomorrow, local BJP MLA Gian Chand Gupta inaugurated a sewage treatment plant worth Rs2 crore at Kot village, which falls under the ward number 20.
The model code of conduct will come into force soon after the announcement of the schedule for the poll. Gupta said the eight sewage treatment plants being constructed in the district would be completed by March 2021. — TNS
