O2 Czech Republic said it plans to cover more than half of all stations in the Prague Metro with its 5G network by the end of this year. The operator plans to cover 35 metro stations out of 61 stations available.
The expansion will begin at the Museum station on line C in the coming days, followed by other stations and adjacent tunnels. By the end of December, the 5G signal will be available in the section Haje-Nadrazi Holesovice on line C, from Ceskomoravska to Radlicka and the Nove Butovice station on line B and on the section Namesti Miru – Dejvicka on line A. The expansion will be continued in 2021.
