On Monday, an FIR was registered by Mumbai police against a casting director for allegedly raping a 26- year-old TV actress under the pretext of marriage. While the name of the actress was not disclosed, the accused is allegedly named Ayush Tiwari. Reports suggested that Ayush was a part of casting team of Akshay Kumar’s Bellbottom. However, Vaibhav Vishant, who is the casting director for Bellbottom has now issued a clarification: “I am the casting director of Bellbottom. The individual Ayush Tewari was a freelancer intern in my company and has nothing to do with the film or its casting.”
