Nadda to camp in UP for 4 days this month

Lucknow ,Dec 2(UNI) BJP national president JP Nadda will be visiting Uttar Pradesh for four days from December 25 to 28 to take stock of the organizational preparedness for Panchayat election.
Decision regarding this was taken in the office bearers meeting held here on Wednesday. The meeting was presided over by party’s national vice-president and in-charge of the state Radha Mohan Singh.
“BJP national president will tour UP for four days from December 25 to 28. For the first two days he will stay in Lucknow while the other two days he will tour other parts of the state,” Mr Singh told reporters here.
He also said that meetings of the recently elected presidents and in-charges of all the 18 mandal of the party will organise workshops where party workers would be educated about the policies of the party and the pro-people schemes of the central and state governments.
When asked whether all these activities in party is because of panchayat elections in the state slated for early 2021, he said BJP is the only political organization of the country which works all the 12 months. “Other parties work only when elections are in sight, but our activities go around the year,” he said.
Hitting out at opposition he said that they were using farmers to get political mileage. “This is a fact that the Narendra Modi government had worked for the welfare of the people, particularly farmers. This is the first government which has implemented recommendations of the Swaminathan commission whose report was gathering dust since 2006. This is the only government which still pays 10 Crore farmers, Rs 6000 every year,” he said.
