WWE Rumor Roundup: Jeff Hardy injury updates, Firefly Fun House, Royal Rumble latest and more – 2nd December, 2020

This week WWE RAW witnessed some of the catastrophic matches which included Jeff Hardy vs Elias in a ‘Symphony of Destruction’ match. Following that Triple Threat match to determine WWE Championship at TLC 2020, and the winner got the chance to face Drew McIntyre at this event.

However without wasting further anytime let’s check out some of the top rumors from this week’s special that will take us ahead to TLC 2020.

5) Top RAW Star Injured

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline has now confirmed that Braun Strowman is currently dealing with a knee injury.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Braun Strowman is confirmed as having a knee injury.

Strowman was written out of the show Monday, attacking official Adam Pearce and being indefinitely suspended as a result.

This sucks for Braun and we hope that he isn’t out for long-term. The original plan was Braun vs Drew McIntyre at TLC. Personally, we are much happier with AJ Styles vs Drew.

4) Jeff Hardy’s Status After Scary Bump On RAW

Jeff Hardy had a scary landing during his match on this week’s episode of RAW. He landed a Swanton Bomb on Elias, who was laying on a table on the outside of the ring. After this spot, there was some concern that Jeff might be hurt as it looked like he hit his head.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, all indications are that Jeff is okay. Here is what he Tweeted:

Jeff is not human. It is 2020 and he is still taking massive bumps. Have to respect it.

3) Update On Plans For The Royal Rumble

According to @Wrestlevotes, WWE has set an internal deadline for January 7th, to determine on if they will have fans at the 2020 Royal Rumble PPV.

Here is what the account Tweeted:

We feel like they won’t end up having fans but you never know. We will have to wait and see.

2) Update On The New Firefly Fun House Character

WWE has recently filed two trademarks for ‘Friendship Frog’. This is the character that recently appeared on the Firefly Fun House.

The frog was murdered during the segment but it looks like WWE is planning to keep it around long-term.

We all for the Friendship Frog sticking around long-term.

1) Possible Stipulation Match At TLC

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the WWE Women’s tag team titles are expected to be on the card at the upcoming TLC PPV. That match will be Lana and Asuka vs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

Meltzer also noted that WWE is likely going to add a stipulation to that match at the event.

That stipulation will be a tables match. Here is what Meltzer said:

“The idea is that the tag team title match will be on the pay-per-view, probably a tables match.”

This would make sense as Lana has gone through the announce table so many times in this storyline. Should be a decent match for the card.
