- Indices touch days low as banking and financial stocks drag further.
- BSE Sensex is trading at 44,247.71 down 407.73 points or 0.91%.
- Nifty50 is currently trading at 13,003.40 down 105.65 points or 0.81%. Nifty Bank is trading down 2.08% at 29,198.80 while Mid-cap Index is down by 0.43%
- GAIL, ONGC, Asian Paints, IOC and Adani Ports are the top gainers while Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Shree Cement and HDFC are the top losers.
- Nifty Banking and Financial Services slip 2% lower in the afternoon trade. Nifty Realty and Metal stocks (above 1%) also slowdown. Auto is the only third sector in the positive territory.
- Out of 50 stocks traded on the NSE, 26 advanced, 23 declined and 1 unchanged.
