At 896 Square Feet, Toronto's New Digital Superboard Is Superbad

At 896 square feet, the new digital billboard installed by Pattison Outdoor on Toronto's Gardiner Expressway may not be the world's biggest, but it certainly makes an impression for drivers, passengers and pedestrians traveling just west of Dufferin Street -- in both directions.

The two-sided billboard -- dubbed a "Superboard" by Pattison's marketing team -- measures 16’ x 56’ and are high-resolution 13.3-millimeter LED screens.

"With significant vehicle traffic facing both east and westbound, this unique location serves as a gateway to the city and its entertainment district where advertisers have the opportunity to engage a wide range of consumers that include tourists, residents and business professionals alike," they state, noting that Pelmorex Location Insights estimates more than 4 million total visitors passed by the location from October 12th to November 11th.
