MSME DI in J&K conducts online training program on Udyam registration

Srinagar, Dec 2 (KNN) Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute under MSME Ministry has organised a weekly online training on Udyam registration here.
The training program is part of series of webinar to be conducted by development institute for the next three months for hand holding MSMEs for new Udyam registration process.
In-charge MSME DI Srinagar Saheel Alaqband on Tuesday said that the Udyam registration will replace erstwhile EM II and Udyog aadhaar registration by 31st March 2021, and each manufacturing as well as service enterprise should have Udyam Registration.
Udyam registration is an online and free of cost self-registration process and must be done by the entrepreneur himself. Besides field offices of industries and commerce are also facilitating the entrepreneurs for the new registration process Udyam.
Reportedly, till date, only 2200 MSMEs are registered in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
Officials from industries and commerce and MSME-TDC Ext. Srinagar also coordinated in successful completion of the webinar.
