SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh reported record number of 21
Covid-19 deaths on Tuesday. Maximum 6 deaths have been reported from
Kangra district, 4 deaths have been reported from Mandi district, 3 deaths each have been reported from Shimla and Kullu districts, 2 deaths have been reported from Solan district while one death each has been reported from Hamirpur, Una and Chamba district.
The state also reported 709 positive cases while 759 positive patients have also recovered. It has now a total of 41,227 positive cases of which 8,218 cases are active, 32,309 patients have recovered, 656 patients have died while 34 have migrated out.
Total 5,34,894 persons have been tested for Covid-19 in the state till Tuesday of which 4,93,056 persons have been tested negative while results of 611 samples are awaited.
Positive cases reported include 33 from
Bilaspur district, 36 from Chamba district, 15 from Hamirpur district, 159 from Kangra district, 5 from Kinnaur district, 56 from Kullu district, 12 from Lahaul-Spiti district, 85 from Mandi district, 200 from Shimla district, 17 from Sirmaur district, 75 from Solan district and 16 from Una district.
Those recovered include 40 from Bilaspur district, 15 from Chamba district, 74 from Hamirpur district, 104 from Kangra district, 10 from Kinnaur district, 60 from Kullu district, 162 from Mandi district, 172 from Shimla district, 20 from Sirmaur district, 88 from Solan district and 14 from Una district.
