All the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), except India, once again supported China's ambitious 'One Belt, One Road' (OBOR) project during the online meeting held on Monday.

India has several times protested against the $ 50 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which is part of the OBOR project and passes through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan reaffirmed their support for China's 'One Belt, One Road' initiative, a joint communique issued at the conclusion of the 19th meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO states.

Vikas Swaroop, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs, said that the meeting was attended by the Prime Ministers of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, while Pakistan was represented by the Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs. This online meeting hosted by India was addressed by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
