The number of daily Covid-19 cases in India reported was at 31,118, one of the lowest in many months, during the last 24 hours as States show improvement in the Covid-19 situation. During the same period there were close to 42,000 recoveries.
As many as 482 people died, taking the total Covid-19 death toll to 1,37,621.
India so far has a total of around 94.63 lakh confirmed cases, of which nearly 88.9 lakh have recovered.
During the last 24 hours, the total number of tests conducted in the country was 9.69 lakh, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research.
