The novena preparations for the Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, patroness of the Panaji parish are underway, with the blessing of the flag (maddi) held last week.
The novena masses are allocated zone-wise with special masses for children and senior citizens. The novena masses will be celebrated on weekdays at 7:45 a.m. and on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. The solemn concelebrated feast mass will be celebrated on December 8 at 9 a.m. in Konkani and in English at 11:30 a.m.
The novena masses and the feast mass will be telecast live to enable people to participate in the mass due to restrictions in view of COVID-19.
