Dilli Chalo protest: Govt invites farmers’ unions for talks at Vigyan Bhavan
Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar invited farmers’ organisations, agitating against the new farm laws, for talks today. The invitation from the agriculture minister came after consultations among senior BJP leaders over ways to reach farmers’ leaders in order to end the stalemate. Earlier, Home minister Amit Shah too urged farmers to begin talks with no conditions. However, farmer leaders are adamant and refuse to go back. They clarified that their demands were non-negotiable.
