Mumbai: Two lakh rupees and two saris for a bribe, father-son arrested

The Anti-Corruption Bureau in Mumbai has arrested an officer and his son on charges of taking bribes. These people took this bribe from the chairman of an apartment. He was arrested by laying a trap.

An official of the Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau said that an officer of the Cooperative Society Department and Beche was arrested for allegedly taking a bribe of two lakh rupees and two sarees.

The officer said that the first-class officer has been identified as Bharat Kakad. He works in the office of the deputy registrar of the Cooperative Society. The other accused has been identified as Sachin Kakad. Both were arrested by the bureau by laying a net and carrying two saris amounting to two lakh rupees.
