Asian markets close higher after China's manufacturing data; Chinese, Japanese stocks outperform

The Asian stocks rose after Chinese manufacturing improved. Chinese mainland markets Shanghai Composite closed 1.77% higher while Set Composite traded 1.26% higher.

Asian markets closed higher on Tuesday. The Japanese Nikkei 225 saw gains of over 1.5% in early trade as Covid cases started to see moderation in the second wave of infections. It ended 353.92 points or 1.34% higher.

Korean Kospi ended 1.66% higher while Hong Kong's Hang Seng also ended 0.67% higher. SGX Nifty also gained 1%.

The Asian stocks rose after Chinese manufacturing improved. Chinese mainland markets Shanghai Composite closed 1.77% higher while Set Composite traded 1.26% higher.

Investors are increasingly optimistic about the expected development of coronavirus vaccine despite caution about the short-term economic impact of rising virus cases in the United States and Europe.

US markets ended mixed on Monday, as Dow Jones closes lower by almost 250 points while Nasdaq recovered all losses to close flat after being down over 1% in intra day trades.
