Voting for the second phase of the District Development Council (DDC) elections and by-elections for panchs and sarpanchs in Jammu and Kashmir is currently underway. Voting started at 7 am in the morning. The second phase will see 321 candidates are in the fray out of which 196 are contesting from Kashmir Division while the remaining 126 from Jammu. In the second phase, voting will be taking place in 43 constituencies, out of which 25 are in Kashmir and 18 in Jammu.
