The Fox Sports channels in the Netherlands will be rebranded as ESPN from the start of 2021. This follows Disney's takeover of the Fox broadcasting group and its Dutch subsidiary Eredivisie Media & Marketing (EMM) in 2019. Fox Sports will continue to show all the same material, including top Dutch football, and maintain all its existing distribution agreements.
In addition to Dutch football, the new ESPN shows international football such as the Bundesliga, UEFA Europa League and MLS and popular American sports such as the NFL, NHL, MLB and college Basketball.
EMM's management is led by Marco de Ruiter and Frank Rutten.
