Germany's 1&1 said it is now offering the DSL 100 broadband connection free for the first ten months instead of for EUR 19.90 per month. The tariff will cost EUR 39.90 per month from the eleventh month. The minimum contract period is 24 months.
The tariff includes telephone and internet connection at up to 100 Mbps. In addition to the discounted tariff, customers benefit from a VAT reduction until 31 December, which is automatically deducted from the amount in the invoice.
Customers can add the 1&1 HD package for EUR 4.99 monthly to the DSL connection. 1&1's TV streaming offering provides a selection of channels, HD quality, time-shifted television (replay), pause and recording functions, multi-streams and integrated Amazon Prime Video app. Customers can log in using their Prime access data and watch content on 1&1 HD TV. 1&1 HD TV plus offers an even larger selection of HD channels, with 53 out of a total of 86 in high definition. The two streaming service can be used on up to three devices at the same time.
