As part of Indian Army's outreach and continuous efforts to support the locals, it provided an automatic loom machine to the employees of Barak Handloom Enterprise, where the women folk earn livelihood by weaving traditional handlooms.
The assistance to the women in Senapati district for skill development was provided under 'Operation Sadbhavana', said PIB (DW) .
The provision of automatic loom machine will help the self-employed women to increase production of traditional clothes and earn better livelihood, it said.
