COVID-19: Awareness motorcycle rally taken out in Kakching

Kakching, November 29 2020: An awareness motorcycle rally was taken out in Kakching district on Sunday to spread awareness about the importance of taking precautionary measures against COVID-19 and drug abuse.

The rally was organised by Kakching District Task Force in association with Kakching District United Clubs' Organisation (KADUCO).

The bike rally flagged off from YVA playground, Pallel by Kakching DC, Kengoo Zuringla and led by Victoria Yengkhom (MPS), SP, Kakching passed through Pallel Keithel, Kakching Lamkhei Keithel, Kakching Keithel, Hiyanglam-Wabagai Keithel, Langmeidong Keithel,Waikhong Keithel, Sugnu Keithel and culminated at Serou.

Speaking to media persons, Kengoo Zuringla appealed to all to obey the SOPs for COVID such as proper wearing of a face mask, regularly washing hands and maintaining a safe distance from others to defeat the pandemic.

The DC also stated that organising more such programmes is imperative to spread awareness about appropriate COVID-19 behaviour.
