Reputed eye surgeon Dr Tanvi Poy Raiturcar, opened Dr Tanvi’s Eye Care clinic at Caetano Albuquerque road, opposite Grande Delmon Hotel, Panaji, recently.
The eye clinic was inaugurated on November 20, by Dr SM Bandekar, dean, Goa Medical College in the presence of Father Walter Dsa, head priest of Panjim parish. Also present on the occasion were Darlene and Oswald Fernandes, Sandhya Viraj Kini, Kishore Narvekar, Dr Jagadish Kakodkar and Uday Bhat besides the family of Govind Poy Raiturcars, Margao.
A gold medalist topper among all postgraduate MD/ MS students at Goa University, Dr Poy Raiturcar, has completed advanced fellowship training in phacoemulsification cataract surgery and medical retina at HV Desai Eye Hospital, Pune and published several research papers in reputed national and international journals.
