While Victoria Police said the investigation remains ongoing, detectives are not looking for anyone else.

A sizeable police presence remains at the scene, with sections of the residential street blocked off with police tape. A police helicopter was deployed early on Monday afternoon.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed that four people from the scene were taken to hospital in serious condition with upper body injuries.

One person was taken to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition, while another was taken to Dandenong Hospital, the spokeswoman said.
