NBA rumors: Derrick Rose will enter his second NBA season with the Detroit Pistons after an effective performance in the last NBA season. Miami Heat should be looking for his services as the Pistons drafted a talented guard in Killian Hayes with their first pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
In July, last year, Derrick Rose signed with the Detroit Pistons. He essentially came off the bench and became one of the team’s top players. He became the first player in Pistons history to record seven back-to-back 20 plus point games coming off the bench.
In his first season with the Pistons, he averaged 18.1 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.4 rebounds. His experienced leadership was also a boost to the Pistons lineup, and Rose was a player that added a lot of value to the team.
10 years ago today, Derrick Rose put Tyreke Evans on the floor with this nasty crossover in Sacramento.

NBA rumors: Why signing Derrick Rose makes sense for the Miami Heat?
Miami Heat reached the NBA Finals last season. Although Erik Spoelstra’s side did not perform very well in their conference, they managed to win the Eastern Conference Finals.
This offseason, Miami Heat signed their big man, Bam Adebayo to a max, $195 million contract that runs for 5 years. They also signed guard, Avery Bradley from the LA Lakers.
They let go Jae Crowder to the Phoenix Suns, but signed Moe Harkless and re-signed star Goran Dragic.
The Heat would be improving their bench in a big way if they sign Derrick Rose. Young guard, Kendrick Nunn may have long-term potential, but Miami is looking short-term.
Although Derrick Rose is not a good defender, that is not really the area the Heat wants to bolster. If Dragic goes down or needs to play a smaller role to stay healthy and fresh, Rose would be able to step up.
Strengthening their offense is the main priority for the Miami Heat.
