Urmila Matondkar is all set to join Shiv Sena

Actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar enjoys a massive fan following. The actress contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket and quit the party later. Now, the 'Rangeela' actress is all set to join Shiv Sena. Urmila's name has been forwarded to Maharashtra Governor B S Koshyari by the Shiv Sena for nomination to the Legislative Council from the governor's quota. Notably, the actress did not get success in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Recently, Urmila Matondkar was in the headlines for criticising actor Kangana Ranaut for comparing Mumbai with Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and the nepotism issue.
