Misunderstanding being created unnecessarily among the farmers: Nitish

Patna, Nov 30 ( UNI) Speaking about the on going agitation of farmers reaching Delhi from
Hariyana against agricultural reform law, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said that misunderstanding was unnecessarily being created among the farmers on the issue.
While talking to news persons after dedicating the 12.27 kilometre long elevated Road
constructed at and expenditure of Rs 1289.25 crore connecting All India Institute of Medical
Sciences Digha, Mr Kumar said that there will not be any hassle in purchasing the producers
of the farmers under the agricultural reforms laws of the centre.
He said the state government has already made such arrangements in 2006 which has
now been introduced across the country .
Referring to the agitation of the farmers the CM said that the centre want to talk to them
and after conversation the farmers would come across the actual facts.
Mr Kumar said that the yields of the farmers were being purchased in Bihar and a target
has been fixed to purchase more than 30 lakh ton produce of the farmers in the current year .
Speaking about the elevated road Mr Kumar said that the elevated road was to be finished
in 2018 but it took some time in the construction of road over bridge.
He said that this elevated Bridge have eased the communication which is now more and
more time saving.
Later Mr Kumar inspected the construction work of Digha -Sonpur rail come Road bridge
and issued some directions to the officers concerned.
The elevated Road would be providing better communication facilities between south and
north Bihar .
This project would also solve the problems of traffic jam of the state capital.
