Two of family die in road accident in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Nov 29 (UNI) Two members of a family, including a woman and her son, were killed on the spot after a State Transport bus collided head-on with their motorcyle at Sarvade village in Radhanagari tehsil of the district on Sunday.
The deceased, Vitthal Dhulappa Khatkar (55), resident of Vadgaon in Kagal tehsil of the fistrict, was returning home along with his old age mother Jambubai (75) on a motorcycle from Mudhal-Titta this evening, police said.
Near Sarvade village opposite Shivajirao Khorate high school, a speeding ST bus proceeding to Mudhal-Titta from Kolhapur, collided head on with their motorcycle.
Due to the impact of the accident, the mother-son duo were killed on the spot.
The Radhanagari police have registered a case of accidental death in this regard, sources added.

CRPF Jawan cremated in Nashik

Nashik, Nov 29 (UNI) The mortal remains of Assistant Commandant Nitin Bhalerao of CoBRA 206 battalion of CRPF killed on Saturday night in Sukma district of Chhattisgarth was cremated with full military honours at Amardham in Nashik this evening

Bhalerao's body was brought to his residence 'Shriji Shrishti' in Rajivnagar after landing at Ojhar Airport from Raipur. His funeral procession was taken out from the chariot decorated with flowers after the funeral procession of the mourners and the people present. His brother was cremated at Amardham in Nashik today evening.
