Heavy to very heavy rain, thunderstorm likely to occur in AP & Yanam in next 24 hours: Met

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur in East Godavari & West Godavari districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Krishna & Guntur districts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.

In a bulletin here, it said that isolated heavy rain is likely to occur in Visakhapatnam district of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Prakasam and Nellore districts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.

Isolated heavy rain and Thunderstorm with lighting is likely to occur in Guntur & Prakasam districts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 29 and December 2.

The same situation will prevail in Anantapur, Kadapa, and Chittoor districts of Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours and on December 2.

Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on November 29 and December 2.

Moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur at most places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at few places or at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 24 hours and on December 2, the bulletin added.
