BHOPAL: A man murdered three people of a family including a 11-year-old boy and crushed their bodies under the wheels of a tractor trolley and surrendered before the police in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh.
Incident was reported from Seoni Malwa area of the district which was later converted into a police chawni to prevent further law and order situation. Additional force was dispatched from surrounding areas, said police.
“Three people belonging to the same family were killed in the village Ayapa of Seoni Malwa tehsil. It seems to be a land dispute,” said a police officer.
Sources say the accused Anwar and other attacked the family with canes and iron rods and then crushed their bodies.
The accused identified as Anwar reached police station along with the tractor trolley and informed the matter to police.
The accused confessed that he had a dispute over land. Deceased were identified as Raju alias Rajendra Kumar Singh, Kuwar Singh and a 11-year-old boy.
Police have arrested seven people including Anwar Singh Raghuvanshi, Sher Singh, Jugal Singh, Bhura Singh, Bhappa Singh, Ram Singh, Bhuri Bai, Matu Bai and Sachin Raghuvanshi.
Investigations are underway.
